278 Series Power Take-Off
Description
The Chelsea 278 Power Take-Off (PTO) included all the design features of our proven 277 Series with the addition of moving the output shaft “up” and away from the PTO aperture pad providing more pump clearance. These electric-over-hydraulic PowerShift PTOs offered six speed ratios, numerous output options from 1-1/4” round shaft to a DIN 5462 output. Chelsea's SuperTorque™ option offered a 20% higher intermittent torque rating up to 402 lbs-ft. for applications that may require a higher rating then the standard 278 Series. The 278 Series was counted on for longevity due to its internal bearing lube. This PTO is no longer available.
