Equipment Refurbishment
Triplex pump rebuilds, repowering, plumbing repair, and full tear-downs, done at our Whitesboro, Texas shop on the equipment you already own.
Get More Life Out Of What You Already Own
A worn triplex pump, a tired engine, or a chassis full of plumbing patches does not always mean it is time to buy new. In most cases, the frame and platform are still sound, and the pump, power train, or plumbing can be torn down and rebuilt to run like it did the day it left the factory.
We handle triplex pump rebuilds, engine repowering, plumbing repair, and full tear-downs for eventual rebuild, all under one roof. If you would rather build a brand new mixing system onto your existing chassis instead of just rebuilding what is already on it, see New Cementer Builds for that option.
Repowering is its own job. If your pump and plumbing are solid but the engine is not, see Engine Rebuilds for what goes into that side of the work.
What We Rebuild
- American Block triplex pumps, including SS-600 and L-600 Series
- Centrifugal pumps and mixing systems
- Detroit 60 Series and Perkins 1106 power trains
- Allison and Funk gearing
- Plumbing, manifolds, and fluid end piping
- Full chassis and platform tear-downs
What We Start With And What Leaves Our Shop
Most units that come through our door look like the left column. Every one of them leaves looking like the right.
What We Start With
Worn Fluid End
Plungers, packing, valves, and seats past their service life, with the fluid end block showing wash marks or crack risk from years of pressure cycles.
Tired Power End
Heat, vibration, and worn oil have taken a toll on bearings and gearing, with the power train no longer holding the rpm and rod loading it once did.
Patched Plumbing
Manifolds, hard lines, and hose runs with years of field patches, mismatched fittings, and repairs that were never meant to be permanent.
An Engine Losing Power
Falling fuel economy, smoke, and power loss that point to an engine near the end of its service life, even while the chassis around it is still sound.
What Leaves Our Shop
Rebuilt Fluid End
New plungers, packing, valves, and seats, with the fluid end block inspected and pressure tested before it goes back into service.
Rebuilt Power End
Bearings, gearing, and seals renewed to spec, so the pump runs the stroke, gear ratio, and rod loading it was built for.
Clean Plumbing
Manifolds and lines rebuilt or replaced as one job, matched fittings, and a layout built to hold up instead of patched piece by piece.
A Repowered Chassis
A new Detroit 60 Series or Perkins 1106 matched to your gearing, so the unit runs on the power train it needs without a new build from the ground up.
From Tear-Down To Rebuild
Intake & Tear-Down
The unit comes apart down to the frame, and every component is separated out for inspection instead of guessed at while still assembled.
Full Inspection
Fluid end, power end, plumbing, engine, and chassis are each checked against wear limits so we know exactly what needs to be rebuilt, repaired, or replaced.
Pump Rebuild
Plungers, packing, valves, seats, bearings, and gearing renewed on the triplex or centrifugal pump, brought back to its original running spec.
Repower
Where the engine is the weak link, a new Detroit 60 Series or Perkins 1106 goes in and gets matched to your existing gearing and pump.
Plumbing Repair
Manifolds, hard lines, and hose runs rebuilt as one job instead of another round of field patches on top of the last ones.
Reassembly & Test
The unit goes back together at our shop and gets a full run-through before it leaves, the same as a new build.

Why Refurbish With Texas Pump Truck
Every Job Done At One Shop
Tear-down, pump rebuild, repower, and plumbing repair all happen at our Whitesboro, Texas facility, not split between different shops.
American Block Triplex Experience
We rebuild American Block SS-600 and L-600 Series triplex pumps to their original running spec, including power ends built for up to 180,000 pounds of rod loading.
Keep Your Chassis, Build New On Top
If a rebuild is not enough and you want an entirely new mixing and pumping system, we can build it onto your existing chassis. See New Cementer Builds.
Parts On Hand For The Long Run
We carry triplex, hydraulic, and centrifugal parts for the pumps we rebuild, so keeping the unit running after the rebuild does not mean hunting down a supplier. See Parts Sourcing.
Refurbishment FAQ
Bring it in, or tell us what it is doing, and we will do a full inspection before we recommend anything. A sound chassis with a worn pump or tired engine is usually a good rebuild or repower candidate. If the frame itself is the problem, we will tell you that too.
The fluid end gets new plungers, packing, valves, and seats, with the block itself inspected and pressure tested. The power end gets bearings, gearing, and seals renewed so it holds the stroke, gear ratio, and rod loading it was built to run.
Repowering means installing a new engine on a chassis you already own instead of replacing the whole unit. It makes sense when the frame, pump, and plumbing are still sound but the engine is losing power, burning oil, or costing more to keep running than it is worth. See our Engine Rebuilds page for more on that side of the work.
Yes. American Block is what we build with most often, but we rebuild triplex and centrifugal pumps and power trains from other manufacturers as well. Tell us what you are running and we will tell you what the job looks like.
Yes. That is exactly what the tear-down and inspection step is for. We take the unit apart, check every major component against wear limits, and give you a straight answer on what needs to be rebuilt, repaired, or replaced before we start any work.
