230 Series Power Take-Off
Description
The Chelsea 230 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) gave you the ability to mount a PowerShift PTO directly on a mechanical or automatic transmission. This provided the operator a smooth engagement with no gear clashing which helps extend the life of the PTO and transmission gears. The 230 Series featured 5 internal speed ratios, 8 shift options and 12 output options. The 230 Series featured an Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC). Another popular feature available for the 230 Series was the patented internal self adjusting shaft brake. This prevented shaft rotation on devices such as water or transfer pumps when the PTO is disengaged. This PTO is no longer available.
